(Life After) Death & Taxes

An interesting post about the messed-up tax structure in Mississippi, our current gubernatorial race (bizaaaarre--see the NYTimes article entitled "In Mississippi, Democrat Runs in G.O.P. and the reasons behind our dubious distinction as #1 in the country for poverty levels. See also my comment in response--the poster brings up some interesting info, I think, but is way off-base on a couple of points.
